THE BIBLICAL TRUTH ABOUT THE SOUL AND THE AFTERLIFE

672 page

A Comprehensive Study of the Nature of the Soul, the State of the Dead, and the Hope of the Resurrection

Among the things proved by this study are the facts that:

• The human soul is not inherently immortal
• A human being does not have a soul; a human being is a soul
• The human soul, body, and spirit (the human disposition) cannot be separated or exist consciously without all those parts being present
• The Bible never describes the soul leaving the body at death; the only thing ever described as leaving the body at death is the spirit of a man, that is the portion of the Spirit/breath of God that was in him sustaining his physical life
• When the body dies, the soul, that is the person, dies
• Human beings and animals are both souls
